Sherry Ziobro

Sherry Ziobro founded Tissue Source in 2007, and has served in her current role since inception. With over 10 years experience in the medical device and pharma industries, Ms. Ziobro provides the visionary and strategic leadership that defines the Tissue Source commitment to unparalleled quality and excellence for its customers.

Prior to founding Tissue Source, Ms. Ziobro served as Vice President, Production Operations for ACell, Inc., a Regenerative Medicine company providing medical devices based on porcine extracellular matrix technology. In addition to her operational responsibilities at ACell, she managed the company’s clinical trial initiatives, working directly with the ACell Scientific Advisory Board. Prior to ACell, Ms. Ziobro held various senior positions in Operations and Project Management in the financial industry.

Ms. Ziobro holds a BS Degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University with additional Master’s level courses taken post-graduation. In addition, she received Executive Management Training from the Center for Creative Leadership.


Candice Schuessler
Vice President of Operations

Candice Schuessler joined the Tissue Source team as Operations Manager in 2011 and has over 20 years of operational management experience in USDA regulated service industries. She directs and supervises overall production and process of the Tissue Source products, ensuring compliance to the Tissue Source quality management system and production specifications. 

Prior to joining Tissue Source, Ms. Schuessler held the position of General Operations Manager for RTM, where she held P/L responsibility and led the organization in the training and development of production team members, process improvement and customer satisfaction.

Ms. Schuessler attended Purdue University, and in addition has completed certification in Management Training.



Tracie Ransom
Quality Assurance Associate

Tracie Ransom

Tracie Ransom joined the Tissue Source team as Quality Assurance Associate in 2016 and has over 13 years of quality experience in the pharmaceutical industry and 3 years in analytical laboratory. She provides support to Tissue Source with compliance to regulatory standards and the quality management system.

Prior to Tissue Source, Ms. Ransom held the position of Senior Quality Assurance Representative for both the Evonik Corporation and prior to that Eli Lilly and Company. She began her professional career at Bioanalytical Systems, Inc as an analytical chemist.

Ms. Ransom holds a BS degree from Purdue University and is a graduate of Leadership Lafayette.



Bill MacFie
Sales and Marketing

Bill MacFie began working with Tissue Source in 2014, primarily providing marketing support with the development of marketing communications, web content and general branding. Beginning in 2018, Mr. MacFie began taking on a more active role in the day-to-day sales and marketing efforts while continuing to contribute to the marketing management initiatives.

Mr. MacFie has over 35 years’ experience in the medical device, dental information technologies and specialty packaging industries. Previous positions include Marketing Director for ACell Inc., a regenerative medicine company, Director of Marketing for Saf-T-Pak, specialty packaging for the regulated shipping of Class 6.2 Infections Substances, and Product Manager for the SoftDent® Dental Practice Management System while owned by Dentsply.

Most recently, while working with Tissue Source, Mr. MacFie also acted as North American Business Manager for Laminar Medica Ltd. (UK) Cold Chain shipping solutions prior to their sale to Sonoco Thermosafe.

Mr. MacFie holds a B.S. in Biology from Virginia Tech, an MBA from Loyola University (Baltimore) Fellows Program, and a certificate in Social Media for Business from Anne Arundel Community College.
