Sherry Mitchell
President, Chief Executive Officer and Founder
Sherry Mitchell founded Tissue Source in 2007 and has served as its President and CEO since inception. With over 20 years of leadership in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, Sherry drives Tissue Source’s strategic vision and operational excellence. Under her guidance, the company has built a reputation for unparalleled quality, innovation, and customer focus, delivering high-impact solutions that advance the field.
Zach Morris
Production Supervisor
Zach Morris came to Tissue Source in 2020 with over 10 years of operations and production management, hands-on production as well as customer communications in a variety of industries. He has primary responsibility for the planning, scheduling, production and shipping of the Tissue Source product. Zach has completed HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) for Processors training, which covers the design and implementation of a Food Safety System including GMPs, GAPs and HACCP Principles.
Veronica Navarrete
Office Manager
As Office Manager at Tissue Source, Veronica Navarrete plays an essential role in ensuring the organization’s day-to-day operations run smoothly across accounting, human resources, and administrative functions. With a strong background in bookkeeping and HR support, she brings structure, clarity, and care to every part of the business. Veronica is also deeply committed to providing excellent customer service, acting as a reliable point of contact for clients and partners and ensuring their needs are met with responsiveness and professionalism.
Jesus Banderas
Quality Assurance Manager
Jesus Banderas brings extensive experience in quality assurance to the Tisue Source Team. He has held various quality roles at both small and large biotech organizations spanning across multiple therapeutic areas. As the Quality Manager, he is responsible for oversight of the quality management system and ensuring our organization and products meet all regulatory and quality standards.
Laura Lemmons, DVM
Veterinary Liaison and Quality Consultant
Laura brings a new level of expertise to the Tissue Source team. With over 15 years’ experience as a full-time practicing veterinarian in addition to 3 years working as the Tissue Source Quality Manager, she now leverages her skills and education to work as the Veterinary Liaison and Quality Consultant while continuing to practice veterinary medicine in a clinical role.
Having worked both as a DVM and Quality Manager at Tissue Source, she is uniquely qualified to contribute both anatomical knowledge and quality proficiency as she supports the team in tissue collections and participates in quality events.
