Founder, President & CEO
Sherry Mitchell founded Tissue Source in 2007 and has served as its President and CEO since its inception. With more than 20 years of experience in the medical device, biologics, and pharmaceutical industries, she has built Tissue Source into a trusted supplier of ISO 13485:2016-certified porcine-derived raw materials for research, physician training, medical devices, and pharmaceutical applications, serving organizations across the United States and internationally.
Sherry’s expertise spans strategic business development, quality systems, regulatory compliance, operations, and supply chain management. She is committed to helping customers overcome sourcing challenges by delivering traceable, consistent raw materials backed by exceptional service, technical expertise, and long-term partnerships.
Zach Morris
Director of Operations
Zach Morris joined Tissue Source in 2020, bringing more than 10 years of experience in operations management, production, quality systems, and customer relations across a variety of industries. As Director of Operations, Zach oversees production planning, scheduling, tissue recovery coordination, processing, shipping, and customer fulfillment, ensuring every project is executed efficiently and in accordance with Tissue Source’s rigorous quality standards.
Zach plays an active role in maintaining Tissue Source’s ISO 13485:2016 Quality Management System and is committed to delivering consistent, traceable products and exceptional customer service. He has completed Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) for Processors training, covering the design and implementation of food safety systems, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), and HACCP principles.

Laura Lemmons, DVM
Veterinary Consultant
Dr. Laura Lemmons is a licensed veterinarian who serves as a Veterinary & Scientific Advisor to Tissue Source. She provides expertise in comparative anatomy, tissue identification, animal health, and veterinary medicine, supporting Tissue Source’s commitment to quality, scientific accuracy, and customer success.
Working collaboratively with the Tissue Source team, Dr. Lemmons provides guidance on tissue recovery, customer technical inquiries, and specialized projects involving porcine-derived tissues for research, physician training, medical devices, and pharmaceutical applications. Her veterinary expertise helps ensure Tissue Source continues to deliver scientifically sound, high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of the life sciences industry.
